Borovo Treasure
The treasure happened to be discovered in 1974 near the then village of Borovo, Rousse district. The treasure consists of five silver vessels: a large bowl (Jug-Rhyton) and four other rhytons that represent horns (keras) or figural drinking vessels – zoomorphic, anthropomorphic, etc. They also have a small orifice in their lower part from which the liquid flows out. There were vessels in ancient Thrace that were additionally turned into rhytons.
